During the GrootGroenPlus Trade Fair in October 2023, we were awarded the Zundert Image Prize by the Municipality of Zundert. With this recognition, the Municipality shows that Huijbregts Tree Nursery is a frontrunner in sustainability and innovation. For many years, our business operations have followed a sustainable path, including non-inversion soil cultivation, mechanical weed control, controlled drainage, and crop rotation. After the construction of our new company building, we also (in collaboration with Staatsbosbeheer and the Brabantse Delta Water Board) created a natural reed filter so that the collected water, once purified, can return to nature. We are very proud that our sustainable business practices are recognized and appreciated by the Municipality.
